An innovative forearm correction model based on growth-kinematic prediction should be developed to predict how fractured forearm bones (3D) will naturally realign over time (4D), considering their impact on forearm function (5D).

In close collaboration with the International Machine Learning Consortium, the forearm research group is actively involved in detecting and classifying forearm fractures using Artificial Intelligence.
Advancements in osteoarthritis
We are exploring the (cost-) effectiveness of minimally invasive patient specific treatments of hand and wrist osteoarthritis.
